I received this book as a gift from a friend. It did not take me long to realize that it was given as a gag gift. My friend found the worst book he could find and this was the winner. The author lacks fundamental English skills, the book is without plot, and there are many inappropriate references to children. Two thumbs down.
The book is a very easy read and is targeted toward a younger audience. For an adult, it will not be appreciated, but for a younger teen reader, it will. The setting is on a far away asteroid where a school is safely sheltered from the outside dangerous influences, so they thought. That safety is shattered by a murder, which sets in motion the chase of the killer through space with its unknown dangers. The reader will see a lesson is taught in how people are treated. A choice must always be made. Sometimes, those choices can be surprising. The book is well written for its intended readers.
Look for the Second addition of this book.
After reading this I look forward to the second book. While reading this the plot is great and the characters are worth loving and getting to know them. Like Gran and Electra are my favorite characters. I liked the others but those two really stand out to me. the story line is a little fast pace. But it made it worth going to work an hour earlier to sit out in my truck and read. Right now I've got my sister and Mom to ready it they like the plot and characters. this book is so worth reading and taking the time to think on the characters.
